Frozen Watermelon Margarita
This cool refreshing margarita is perfect for hot days, Cinco de Mayo 🙂 or any day!
Frozen Watermelon Margarita
In a blender place:
3 cups cut pieces seedless watermelon (I used 1/2 of a small watermelon)
3 cups ice
Juice of 1 lime
3/4 cup margarita mix (I used Jose Cuervo mix)
6 oz tequila ( I used Sauza Blanco Tequila)
Blend and pour. Simple, right? I thought so.
*I rimmed the glasses with the juice of a lime and added True Lime on the edge, it was the first time I used True lime, it’s crystallized lime and sugar, it made the edge of the glass tangy and sweet at the same time, it comes in a box with small packets. I’m sure I will be making these all summer!
If you prefer a non-alcoholic drink, omit the tequila. There is a lot of great flavor with the watermelon, lime juice with the non alcoholic margarita mix.
Refreshing watermelon with the kick of tequila? Love it! Camp Blogaway was a blast and I look forward to getting to know you better through your wonderful blog!
Thanks Kristina! Looking forward to getting to know you better too. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I love your watermelon with a kick drink.
Thanks Hani!
Yum. Is it wrong that I want one and it’s only 6:19 am?
Oh no not wrong at all 🙂
This watermelon slushie looks a lot like what I used to do for our son when he was a baby – of course, without the alcohol. 🙂 I’d blend up watermelon, freeze it in ice cube trays, and it was a perfect snack slightly thawed on a hot day. He started eating that at about 8 months. Yummy!
That sounds like a perfect summer treat!
Yummy! I’m going to use this recipe for our next backyard party. Thanks!
So will I!
Cheers!Happy Mothers Day! Big Hugs!!
Thanks, Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Yet another margarita I have yet to try but one day hope too. Great photograph of it Diane!
This one is super easy! My kids love the non-alcoholic version too 🙂
Wow, this drink looks so refreshing and beautiful! It was wonderful to meet you at Camp Blogaway. I look forward to following your blog!

Great to see you and thank you for the pix of everyone at camp. That is fantastic! Patricia
Yes, watermelon is certainly on my mind after all the yummy watermelon items we had at camp. It was great meeting you and I look forward to getting to know you better 🙂
I adore when I’ve free of charge time to examine out blogs on the internet. I learn a great deal from then and many are really funny. Maintaining a smile on my face whilst relaxing is usually a pleasure! Thanks for sharing yours.
