Greek Charcuterie Board
Snacking at its best with Mediteranean items that make this Greek Charcuterie your new best friend.
This is the perfect weekend snacking platter at its best!
There is nothing new about platters of food and this is one of those items you’ll make again and again and the beauty of it all is you can use items you have on hand, or plan it out specifically. Feel free to line the bottom with some greens or herbs, fresh herbs always smell amazing.
fruits and nuts are a great options and a bit of chocolate is always a fun idea.
Full of Mediterranean flavors, and the possibilities are endless.
Use a flat wood or white ceramic/porcelain platter, if it has a slight rolled edge it will help items not to fall off the sides when carrying it. I have found these boards at home goods and have ordered different size wood trays for gifts online from Amazon.
Items I included on my Charcuterie Board:
- Mediterranean Style Pita
- Dolmas- stuffed grape leaves
- Hummus

- Olives (stuffed green and Kalamata)
- Cherries- figs are another great option

So many options, make making a platter like this add your favorites and make it your own. Let me know if you come up with any items I should try.
I served this charcuterie before making Greek chicken, my new favorite Greek seasoning is Greek Freak from Spiceology. I picked it up at Costco or you can order it online. It has the most delicious flavor combination of spices, not like any I’ve ever tried before and I have tried many. Most are salty and just lots of oregano, now I love both those but this one surpasses all basics and makes it irresistible.
I pound boneless skinless chicken breast or sometimes chicken thighs and sprinkle each side with the seasoning anywhere from 1 hour to overnight with the Greek Freak seasoning before cooking. Sometimes I add the juice of a lemon for a wet marinade.
You could easily platter up the items and serve them as a jumping off point for everyone to make their own plate, salad, or bowl as they can pick and choose their toppings. What a fun way to serve a meal.
