Green Olive Dip
Break out the chips, crackers and veggies and get ready to make your new favorite dip. This olive dip is extra flavorful, perfect slathered on some warm crusty bread, or a roast beef sandwich.
I love olives and pickles and always have a few jars in my fridge. It makes curing those between meal snacking possible and satisfies tangy savory cravings. This dip is perfect anytime. I could make a whole sandwich out of it, by the way, I think adding it to some chicken salad is in order!
I am a huge dip fan, snacking is a requirement in my kitchen! Choose chips, crackers, veggies, pretzels, or toast some slices of crusty bread and let’s enjoy some snacks!
I just love dips, they are simple to mix up and can be made ahead of time, which is so wonderful, place the dip in the fridge, give them a mix, place it in a nice serving bowl, and get out your favorite dippers.

And pop them on top of some cheesy crostini and I’m happy.
How can I adjust the flavor of this Martini Dip?
Add in some crumbled cotija or blue cheese, and add a splash of gin or vodka, and the dip will give a nice martini tast,e which will give it a super flavorful dirty martini dip flavor.
Small dishes make a great single serve size.

green olive dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6 oz cream cheese add an additional 2 oz if using vodka/gin so it's thicker
- 1 cup green olives (stuffed) additional sliced olives for garnish
- 2 tablespoons olive brine (from jar of green olives)
- 2 tablespoons onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon fresh finely minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- pinch black pepper
- 1 oz crumbled, cotija or blue cheese (OPTIONAL)
- 1/2 oz vodka or gin (OPTIONAL)
Instructions
- Be prepared to chill this dip until it's cold before serving, it'll thicken up as well.
- Place all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until all ingredients are combined. Alternatively, whisk the ingredients with finely chopped olives until well blended.
- Place in a dish, covered, and refrigerate until completely cold. Garnish and serve with chips, pretzels, vegetables and/or crackers.
