Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spread the coconut into a thin layer on a 1/4 baking sheet.
Place in upper portion of the oven.
Turn the coconut so it toasts evenly with a spatula/turner.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until coconut is golden.
Place coconut in a skillet and heat on low stirring until it's golden.
Allow toasted coconut to completely cool, then store in an airtight container.
Will keep fresh for one month at room temperature.
